	New Publication: Market study of fishery products from Artisanal fisheries in Arab countries [May 2010] Within the framework of the FAO-CFC-INFOSAMAK project, the PEA has released a new publication entitled: “Market study of fishery products from Artisanal fisheries in Arab countries: Djibouti, Morocco, and Yemen). The document is produced as outcome of the market study conducted by the Centre. The study analyses the status of fisheries resources available to fishermen cooperatives in the three countries and sheds light on potential export markets, namely: European, US, Japanese and Arab markets.

	Exporting Seafood to the EU - Arabic version [April 2010] This bulletin provides a guideline on how to export seafood products to the EU. It describes, inter alia, the required EU system of official assurances, the main regulations and requirements for the Competent Authorities and operators along the value chain. The Arabic version has been prepared by the Yemeni Seafood Producers and Exporters Association (YSEA) and INFOSAMAK Centre with the support within the framework of the STDF project.

	A Guide to Packaging Technology for seafood Value-Addition [April 2007] This richly illustrated technical guide presents some recent developments in different techniques, materials and machines which can be used for packaging various types of products. This document aims to provide all necessary information to different players in the sector faced with making the best possible choices to meet specifications for a targeted market. 	Analysis of market and Feasibility Study for Value-added Seafood Products [June 2006] Following the development of value-added seafood products and the preparation of the technical manual, INFOSAMAK has implemented a feasibility study for the newly developed products. The outcomes of this study was published in manual termed: “Analysis of market and Feasibility Study for Value-added Seafood Products”. It comprises two parts. The former consists of detailed analysis of seafood market. It focuses on the European Union area, as it is the main importer of seafood products from Arab countries. In the second part, the study provides estimates of production cost for some of the selected products taking into consideration the investments required.
