As part of the activities of the Infosamak Centre program, and following the recommendation by the CFC project for the promotion of the marketing and the processing of value added fish products in the Arab region, Infosamak organised, in collaboration with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization and the Common Fund for Commodities, a seminar on fish quality from 20th to 24th May 2002 in Casablanca.
The seminar sought to train national liaison officers, and quality control staff in member countries and company partners to the CFC project in quality assurance and quality control areas. It hopes also to provide them with a brief survey about the main international trade trend of fishery products and the quality/ environment dilemma.
