The Ministerial Conference on the cooperation in Fisheries among the African States Bordering the Atlantic Ocean ( COMHAFAT), will be held as foreseen on January 21 and 22 in Dakar,

indicates a news release of the ministry, which shelters the head office of the permanent secretariat of this institution.

The works of this meeting will concern the cooperation between States members and positions to be adopted within international bodies and on the situation of the ratification of the regional agreement relative to the halieutics cooperation between the States members of the COMHAFAT.

The exam of the report of the meeting of the experts, foreseen on January 19 and 20, and the preparations for the 6-th session of the COMHAFAT, appears also in the agenda.
The Meeting will also, examine the project status report of the tripartite cooperation Morocco-Japan-Others African countries in the technologies of the industries of maritime fishery and another tripartite project of promoting traditional fishing.
