At the beginning of March, Spain and Morocco signed an agreement on mutual support in the fisheries sector.

One element of the agreement provides for the training of Moroccan specialists in Spain. In addition, Spain will gain the opportunity to examine as part of a study the current condition of the Moroccan fishing grounds. Carmen Fraga Estevéz, stated that the aim of the agreement was the creation of binational joint ventures.
