This study allowed a precise and detailed evaluation of the national fisheries resource. According to the first results, 80 % of the resource is not exploited. Referring to the first data, the zone of Tipasa is rich in pink shrimps, molluscs, hakes, red mullets, Common Pandora and other mackerels. A restricted fishing zone, extended from Sidi Fredj on the cape of the lighthouse of Tipasa, was bounded because of its zone’s quality of reproduction of small fish of diverse varieties.
