The production volume of fish in Yemen's Al-Mahra between January 2004 and January 2005 touched 94,575,808 kilograms, fetching revenues of YR 23.8bn (US$ 127.04mn). Rock lobsters were the most essential commercial fishery, the production volume touching almost 145,654 kilograms, followed by sardine and tuna.
