Yemen and South Korea discussed on January 5th opportunities of fishery investments available in Yemen.

During a meeting included Fishery Wealth Minister Mohammed Saleh Shamlan and the General Director of a South Korean fishery company, the two sides agreed to prepare a cooperation protocol to implement joint fishery projects.

The Yemeni official called on Korean companies to invest in the fish sector in Yemen, noting Yemen has fisheries allow to fish approximately 500,000 tons annually.
