According to an official of the Ministry of fisheries of Morocco, The ban on collecting and marketing of shellfish coming from authorized areas for exploitation along the Atlantic going from Moulay Bouselham to the lagoon of Khnifess(Layoune) was lifted.

This measure is related to the stability and the total purification of the waters along the Atlantic littoral of Moulay Bouselham to the lagoon of Khnifess, as it is proved by the results of analysis carried out by the National Institute of fisheries research(INRH).
