Signature of an agreement to let galician fishing vessels operate in Moroccan territorial waters from the 15th January.
Sixty four galicians fishing vessels are authorized to operate in Moroccan territorial waters from the 15th January.
This is what conveys the signed agreement on December 23, 2002 in Rabat, between the Moroccan and Spanish Ministers of Fisheries.
The meeting between the two ministers, awaited for few days, comes as a follow up to the decision of the King Mohamed VI which allows, in exceptional circumstances, to access the Moroccan exclusive economic zone by the galicians fishermen who were affected by the catastrophe of the tanker "Prestige".
