Cooperartion in the fisheries sector

Tunisia and Spain signed on recently an administrative protocol of cooperation in vocational training in the fisheries sector, as reported by official sources. This protocol signed by the Tunisian Secretary of State in charge of hydraulic resources and fisheries Mr. Amor Horchani and by the Ambassador of Spain in Tunisia Mr. Senen Florensa “aims the improvement and consolidated at the pedagogical capacities of training establishments in fisheries (9 centers), especially for the species of blue fish”. A budget of 645.000 dinars was allotted for the implementation of this program until the end of the year 2004. Spain will finance this program up to 500.000 dinars through the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation. The rest of the budget will be funded by the Tunisian government, according to the same sources.
