Oman: Ministry examines fish farming projects Oman's Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, together with a Government committee is presently examining five fish farming projects submitted by private companies aimed at increasing fish production to meet the rising demand for fish worldwide... The Ministry is also carrying out a project in the country's Batinah region, to support fish stock. This project is expected to be expanded to cover more regions in the country. The Ministry has contributed in a big way to research in the field and has been carrying out private sector projects.
