Sultanate of Oman : Meeting on marketing of fisheries products The Arab Organisation for Agricultural Development organized under the patronage of Eng. Ali Bin Masoud Al Sunaidi, Omani Sports Affairs Minister, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries of Sultanate of Oman, a three-day expert gathering from 14 to 16 August 2005 in Muscat. The aim of the meeting was to discuss coordinating the marketing systems of the requirements for production of fisheries in the Arab world. Several working papers on efforts extended by fisheries authorities concerned in the Arab world were discussed during the meeting. Recommendations focused on enhancing coordination of policies, procedures, systems and legislations relating to fish production trade in the Arab countries.
