MOROCCO-EU FISHERIES AGREEMENT On Wednesday February 28th, 2007, Moroccan government has notified the European Union council about the accomplishment of procedures relating to the ratification of the partnership agreement between the two sides. With this notification, the agreement, which was signed on July 26th, has entered into force starting February 28th. According to this agreement, 119 European fishing trawlers will be operating in Moroccan waters during a period of 48 months.
