Yemen and Egypt discuss areas of cooperation in the fisheries sector

Minister of Fisheries Wealth Mohamed Shamlan discussed on July 26th with the Egyptian ambassador to Yemen Mohamed Awadh areas of cooperation between the two countries in the fisheries field.



The two sides dealt with mechanisms to activate agreements of the 10th session of the Yemeni-Egyptian Joint Committee, which approved the establishment of a Yemeni-Egyptian company in the field of fishing, marketing and aquaculture.

The Egyptian ambassador voiced his country's readiness to provide technical support to Yemen in the field of training on modern methods in the fields of fish farming, feed production, statistics, quality, facilities management and fish industries.

Shamlan valued the efforts exerted by the Egyptian diplomat to serve the bilateral relations between the two countries and expand the joint work in the field of fisheries wealth.
