INFOSAMAK WEBSITE WILL GET SOON A NEW LOOK

In an attempt to match the requirements of professionals from Arab countries and worldwide, INFOSAMAK website will get started on March 1st, 2007 with a new look. The new website will include new pages on monthly market reports of the most traded seafood products. It will also include articles and papers relevant to fisheries and aquaculture. Up-to-date statistics on production, export/import and consumption will also be provided. Moreover, INFOSAMAK associate members will have access to an online directory of exporters and importers with the possibility to make queries by country, fields of activities, type of products and nature of product.

CODEX’s 17th Coordination Committee Session

CODEX Coordination Committee for Africa (CCAfrique), which is an active authority operating in food processing, will hold its 17th session in Rabat on January 23rd through 26th, with the participation of 44 African countries.

Green Light for Fishing Agreement with EU

Morocco’s fishing agreement with the European Union, which was signed on July 28th, 2005 in Brussels was adopted by the Foreign Affairs Commission on Tuesday, December 19th , 2006 , after a two-hour-and-half of presentations and discussions.
